About Us

We empowers children and persons with disabilities through care, learning, therapy, and skill development—creating opportunities for independence, dignity, confidence, and inclusive community living.

Prashanti Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2005 in Sirsi, Karnataka. It works in both urban and rural areas of Uttara Kannada district to support persons with disabilities and children who require developmental and educational assistance. The organisation implements three major programmes. The Occupational Rehabilitation Programme provides day care and vocational skill development for adults with disabilities, helping them become more independent and socially integrated. The Early Intervention Programme supports young children with developmental delays through therapeutic services, parental guidance, and early developmental support. In addition, the Kalike Education Programme works with government schools to assist children who face learning difficulties and improve their academic performance.

Nursery Training to People with Disabilities

An activity was conducted at the Chetana Occupational Rehabilitation Centre in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada, where individuals with disabilities participated in skill-building and routine development sessions. Free transportation was provided to all participants, along with a nutritious mid-day meal and necessary medical support. Trainers guided them throughout the activities, ensuring a supportive and encouraging environment. Participants also earned remuneration for their work, helping build confidence and financial independence. The program contributed to improved emotional well-being, regular routine, and relief for their families from continuous caregiving responsibility.

We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone
